The team

An agency like
you
Since 2009, Matahari has supported both emerging and established brands in order to develop their visibility, build their reputation and grow their community. We work in three complementary fields – Media Relations, Influence and Social Media – and each project benefits from the synergies of the entire team, resulting in a proposal that is fully centred around these three areas.

The cohesion of the Matahari team has been forged over the years and is our greatest strength. It allows us to stand on our own two feet.

What’s more, the Matahari team is made up entirely of women, and although it came naturally, we try to create the space for every member to express their uniqueness. This

This cohesion also allows us to build a close relationship with our clients and motivates us to continuously challenge and reinvent ourselves, so that we always give the very best to those who have put their faith in us for so many years – some of them since the agency was first founded. Hone your discourse and sharpen your arguments to really promote your messages to your audiences. Stand out, subtly.

SOPHIE CORONT DUCLUZEAU

Founder

Having found myself in the world of communications and beauty by chance, my passion for it made me stay: beauty not only makes you feel good, but it’s also an innovative and highly technical sector! My years spent at L’Oréal, then in agencies, were very formative and allowed me to build a solid network. Our job has changed a great deal, and being aware of the importance of numerous environmental and societal issues creates obligations for us all. I like to trust my intuition and am inspired by a great many things: reading, landscapes, encounters, and often clients. A company is always in motion...

My motto? everything is possible!

MARION REBUFFEY

Associate Director, Head of the Beauty & Influence Division

After spending two years in London as an Assistant Fashion Editor, I joined the Matahari agency in 2012 to represent international and French beauty brands, selectives, DNVBs and clients from the pharmacy network. I am passionate about what I do and have built close relationships with journalists and content creators, as well as make-up artists and hairstylists. "Trend spotter", "storyteller", lobbyist, but sometimes also a future Jimi Hendrix... Believe you can be all of these things at once, to unveil new information that will be tomorrow’s news.

My motto? Find high-impact concepts and know how to reveal a brand’s hidden potential.

MARINE SIMON

Head of the Health/Well-Being & Influence Division

My 15 years spent at different agencies have allowed me to forge solid expertise in beauty, well-being and health. Due to my particular interest in the themes of health and the environment, I gradually specialised in these sectors, without turning my back on beauty, which I’ve always been fond of, as long as the brands are committed!

My motto? Together, we can go further! I love working as part of a team and I’ve always believed that sharing ideas, and the competitive spirit that arises from it, can only get the best results.

JULIE VAN AELST

Head of the Social Media Division

I am passionate about social networks, I like seeing them evolve and finding the best way to support brands on these new platforms. They offer amazing opportunities for expressing yourself and working on your image, provided that you are happy to follow their trends, be original and let go! Once these elements are acquired, I lend my meticulous approach and sharp eye to hunting down even the tiniest of spelling mistakes.

My motto? Curiosity is the shortest path to knowledge! We learn every day, in every field, which makes curiosity quite a lovely flaw.

CAROLINE BROYON

PR & ePR Consultant, Beauty Division

I’ve been working in the field of media relations and influencer marketing for over four years now, and my experience in advertising and agencies has helped enhance my understanding of client issues. As a beauty fan, I scour the web to unearth the latest trends, to the extent that I know (nearly) all there is to know about the market. Working in this sector was an obvious choice!

My motto? A good mood gets better results! I’m convinced that a positive frame of mind makes us more productive and has a beneficial impact on our work.”

AURORE PHAN VAN

PR & ePR Consultant, Health/Well-Being Division

Lulled by the world of science from an early age, it was natural for me to move into the field of health and well-being. Enriched by my previous experience with advertisers, I love the idea of helping brands with their communication strategies, while following their evolution. Always on the lookout for the latest trends, I draw inspiration from influence by contacting content creators to set up relevant partnerships.

My motto? Many are the best! All ideas are welcome, but I believe that teamwork and good understanding are essential to achieving our goals.
